Works great for me. Got it to work with all my entertainment center components (Onkyo, Sony TV, BD player)
I programmed a few macros so the rest of the family has easy one touch functions based on watching TV with sound, BD with sound, etc.
Also have an older Logitech, but wife can't stand all the buttons you need to press to do what you want.
If you have mostly Sony, it's a no-brainer--but works great with others as well.
