Works as Advertised. Not as cool looking as the logitech version and the green screen/gray text along with the red back light seems so 1980s but damn for $75 as compared to $250ish for the logitech I'm able to hide my components. Very Sturdy. Takes a little getting used to understand what buttons control what functions but after having it for a few weeks I've gotten the hang of it.

Sony RMVZ320 universal remote Control

01.10.20112 - Unlike the Logitech Harmony 300 [I returned two because of software bugs], the software and drivers on the Sony RMVZ320 are preloaded so there's no need for computer hookup like the Harmony 300. All one has to do is enter the mfg code from the accompanying sheet in 3 easy steps; press Set until red LED comes on, hold Set and press the device button together, release the buttons and enter the code on the numeric touchpad, red LED blinks 3 times that the code took. To test press the device button and then power. That's as easy as buttering toast. My only bug is the printed code numbers are very tiny to read [my eyes are 20/20] requiring a handheld magnifying glass.

Just received it today. Was thinking about the Harmony 1100 which is expensive and apparently not well supported on Mac and am so glad I didn't waste money on that pricey unit. This device works exactly as promised. All of my remotes functions were easily transferred and the customizability this invention allows is ideal. You can lay out your remote(s) however you want and program only the functions from your factory remotes that you really use or want, which is actually better than the original remote in my mind. The drawer and pop up features are brilliant and let you hide functions you don't use as often (yet easily access them) and keep your customized remote layout clean and streamlined if you want.

I needed a new Sony remote for my big screen TV since the old remote was slowly disintegrating into nothingness and half of the buttons had already stopped working. I put the batteries in on this bad boy and it was ready to go! Works fantastically on my DVD player as well. I would buy this again in a heartbeat as it was easy to use and quite versatile.

I bought this remote a few days ago, and have been very pleased.

The built-in database is reasonably complete. I set it up for my Vizio TV and TivoHD fairly quickly, and all of the appropriate hard and soft buttons worked fine.

Logitech Harmony 700 Rechargeable Remote

I got my 700 working great but I did have to call the customer support 800 number for some help to get it working the way I wanted it to work. The remote has to be plugged to charge the two AA 2000mha battery's that come with it and cannot be used while it is pluged in and they are charging. After Charging them fully, after two day's you will get the low battery warning again. What I did to fix this problem was I bought at Wal Mart a WALL charger and 4 AA battery's @2300 Mha come's with it. You can recharge 4 or 2 AA or AAA battery's at a time.

DirecTV RC64 Universal Remote Control

This remote replaced our old one whose buttons had stopped working. This new one works exactly the way it's supposed to. The only problem was that it arrived much later than originally estimated. However, I'm pretty sure it was not the fault of the shipper, but rather USPS. Good price, good product.

Logitech Harmony 300 Remote Control 915-000143

As a previous owner of universal remotes, I am completely in sold on this Harmony remote. Yes - it does take a few minutes to sign-on to their website. Once signed-on, all my devices were easily found. I loaded them in one-by-one, walked downstairs, and everything worked - first time. This is just amazing to me. Having spent hours on previous remotes searching through various codes and never finding all the codes I needed. I am so excited - this replaced four remotes for me; which is also the limit for this remote. There are other Harmony models with more features for much more cost. The cost for feature ratio on this unit was absolutely the best for me.
